UPDATE I'm still alive :) encouragement for the GRINDERS

Hey guys,

I had a great summer...and took a long time off from blogging..
I'm back in school so hopefully I will be able to login and catch up with you guys!
I am taking Spanish II so my life will be foriegn for the next 4 months. I'm excited about that :)
To anyone out there grinding!!
For those of you who are attending school AND
working 2 or 3 jobs....AND
in social clubs, sports, ministries, friends, families, moms, dads, big brothers, big sisters.....AND
coming home and taking care of any sort of responsibilities.....
I understand....please be encouraged...this is the day of technology and some times I cringe at it because the world is going so fast..
I have to tell me self sometimes to slow down to not get so selfish in traffic...in line.....at the grocery store....in a conversation....
sometimes I have to STOP!!! and enjoy nature...get outside run..walk...smell the flowers...talk to my long winded friendly neighbor, who I have much respect for...my neighbor is from the old school if he sees someone pulled over on the side of the road he will pull over and ask if he can help...he will BBQ and share with me and some other neighbors...WHERE are people like that who care about other people and have compassion...did they move out of Texas? US?
I am on a roll..
thats my question of the day...If you are out there and you are just working so hard keep believing in yourself and God who put that goal and tenacity in you...

maybe this post  is for me :)



this summer I went to Mexico! It was fun I will try to upload a pic or two soon!
I was a bridesmaid in one of my bestfriends wedding, in Cozumel!
Do I recommend going to Cozumel???
HECK YES!! If you love the beach, and great weather, and haggling for the best price when you shop then
 GO!!!!
I believe you will enjoy the land and the people!

Whether the war be in your hood, your house, your city, your country, your nation...I want to say may the peace and love of God be with you and may you grow strength each day that passes. Update; Generation Me

Hey everyone I am still alive I am going to see Steve Harvey's Think like a man today...
a week and a day later, but not too late, at least its not on DVD yet lol.

I also was inspired by a movie made by some local peeps called
                                                              Generation Me!
This movie had me laughing the whole time! Its a story about a girl Malia, who gets obsessed with her boyfriends social network page, because some other woman is stalking his page. She goes from the mindset my relationship is secure to..... OMG I am loosing my man to some stripper. This movie is filled with beautiful people, and great writing, this movie is totally for this generation and time. There is a moral to the story BUT..............................................................................
you have to see it to get it.

I had a great time in worship, and fellowship @ The Good Friday Austin's Serve Our City put on @ the Bass Concert Hall. There were many churches of different backgrounds and ethnicity's getting together in the name of Jesus. It was beautiful from my perspective. You can see what SOS does here

Inspiration "good deeds"

Yesterday I was on my way to class, I usually get there early and  park my car on the street where we have to pay to park...
I usually sit and read in my car,while waiting for my class.

well when I parked my car there was another student walking and she glanced in my car....
I thought "Why is she looking at me"

Well unbenounced to me she got in her car and left her drivers side door open for a while I went on to read my book... thinking that was weird...
I saw out of my peripheral vision she started walking towards my car, my window was already down because of the nice weather...
she asked me are you parking.....
I was thinking I'm already parked what the heck....
I said yes...
she gave me her parking sticker that had time on it because she was leaving....
I said ohhh thank you....you freaked me out.....
WOW so now its my turn and your turn do something unexpected for someone else you DON'T know. It may open there eyes to a better perspective or even brighten their day....
Thank you anonymous girl you helped me more than you know!
